The Great Parenting Show!

We’re gearing up for our third free parenting interview series, which will be in the spring of 2011! The fall show was delightful, and we’ve received lots of feedback from parents whose lives have changed from the transformational information shared!

I just wanted to let you know that just the information that I’ve received from listening to one seminar has been life-transforming, not just life changing (my husband says if something changes it can change back, but transformation is permanent!). You probably have my support forever. ~ Rebecca S.

Just dropping by to say that your work with the Great Parenting Summit last year had a life changing effect for me. I heard some of author Carolyn Ellis’ interview. Immediately I ordered her book “The 7 pitfalls of Single Parenting: What to avoid so your Children Thrive after Divorce”.

Last Sept, as someone looking to regain more independent confidence in daily single parenting, each night I quietly worked through her easy to understand exercises, and was impressed by her very applicable observations and suggestions.

This book could be reprinted without the label of divorce simply for helping parents to find strength in their own ability to single parent as the need may be. (ie. “hunting/fishing/work widows”). I have suggested it to my single parent friends, and my happily married friends.

I repeat to myself, almost daily, her acronym THRIVE: Trust Honesty Respect Integrity Vision Expression.
Don’t get me wrong, I still have good and bad days. Fortunately, the good days are outweighing the bad days more and more as time goes by.

When people ask me how I could find such fortitude and resilience in the last 8 mths of my personal journey through unexpected marital separation, I say “I am so fortunate to have amazing family & friends, a wonderful community, and I am learning to THRIVE.”

Thank you Jacqueline…more than words can express.
Love,
Crystal

I will definitely be listening to your next great parenting show! I heard so many great things from so many great speakers on you’re last one. I was hoping to get some parenting tips, but learned so much more. I also learned to take ca…re of me and work on myself more. Just the other day at work someone told me I had been showing great improvement with the way I handle and speak to the residents in the nursing home, I’ve been working on myself for my kids but it is also showing to others. Thanks Jacqueline, it is a awesome show!
