I am excited to bring you this weeks tips on parenting because we are doing a live interview with a leading expert in effective learning and youth development. I’ll keep this blog post short and you can join us on the live call, or listen to the replay and get a wealth of information. If you have teens who are doing well but could use a boost to go from good to great, or teens who are struggling, you’ll want to hear this interview!
The expert I’m interviewing is Bobbi DePorter. I first heard of her a few years back when friends of mine raved about the amazing experience their teens just had. Both of their kids were doing well in school and socially. However, after coming back from the camp they were motivated and had the skills they needed to go from doing well to living up to their full potential!
Now that my son is turning 14, I wanted to check this camp out. I am preparing for my fall Great Parenting Show, and so I decided to book Bobbi for an interview. She agreed to share her tips on parenting in a way that increases our teens motivation to achieve their dreams, as well as how to help give our teens the life skills and academic skills they need to thrive.
So join us and ask us your top question about how to raise your teen to reach his or her potential! Click here to sign up for the call, or if you can’t make it or miss it, the replay. The interview is right away, so sign up now so you don’t miss it.
A few of the things you will learn:
• The five things to look for before deciding in a summer enrichment camp
• Why sending your kids to summer enrichment camps can have such a huge impact on their happiness and academic success
• 8 character-building principles to share with your kids
• How you can strengthen your family relationships
I hope you can make it to the live call. I am excited to get more of my questions answered, and to ask Bobbi your top questions!

Great. I’m always for finding ways on how I can equip my teens with skills that can help them as they go through with life. As parents, we can only do so much but with the different lessons and training boot camps offered nowadays, our kids are sure to have a lot of options for learning a variety of skills that they can use in the future.
We can always give them our support and love to help them further in their life’s journey.
